Get to know Allie by listening to her conversation on The LDS Mental Health Podcast.
Allie Allen is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who works with adolescents, adults, and families. She has experience helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and difficult life transitions. Allie believes that most people are doing the best they can with the tools they have, and that therapy can provide a space to better understand what is getting in the way and learn new ways of moving forward.
Her work is informed by Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She enjoys helping clients process painful experiences, make sense of patterns that no longer serve them, and build practical skills for managing emotions and relationships. Allie believes that many of the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors people struggle with developed for a reason, and that healing often begins with understanding those parts of ourselves with greater curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.
